Edit, January 20, 2008 Absolutely the final edit for this, should be a little higher resolution this time around. With some general fixes too. Edit, October 21, 2007: Added some shine to the top part near the planet. Edit, October 8, 2007: Sharpened, color corrected, other little fixes. Edit, June 24, 2007: Final set of updates, added more color correction, blur, footprints, and a bunch of other stuff. You can view the old version here: [link]  DescriptionThis stunning piece was made for the deviantArt Subscriptions Giveaway contest hosted by stockers ~kjherstin-stock and *IWS-stock. Basically, you could make anything you want. But you had to use only their stock, and one of their brush sets. I really like how this turned out. Even though I had to dodge and burn every single stone at the bottom with my pressure sensitive Wacom Tablet. A lot of good practice there. I also got a lot out of making that planet, haven't done that in a while. Just a little background for this image. I had originally planned this to be kind of a Barren Landscape picture, and a explosion at the top. Though it didn't work out because I couldn't use any stock explosions, just clouds from the stockers gallery's. I ended up using a motion blur on the already manipulated clouds and that's the rays you see at the bottom of the image! Complete surprise for me too! Never thought "Souls" would come into it!
